2007 Alumni Survey Results
What do the results tell us? On many counts, the Alumni Assessment Survey, 1986-2006 offers impressive new testimony to the value of the Murphy Institute. Two examples stand out on my reading. First, there’s the impressive variety of successful career paths taken by our former students: virtually all the major professions, including business, law, medicine and higher education. Then there’s the almost unanimously positive perception of the undergraduate political economy program. Some 96% of alumni respondents said that, if given another chance, they would again choose political economy as an undergraduate major.
