Douglas Portmore is Associate Professor of Philosophy at Arizona State University and a 2008-2009 Center Faculty Fellow.

Professor Portmore’s areas of specialization include value theory, normative ethics, and applied ethics. He has published a number of scholarly articles in journals including Philosophical Studies and Ethics. Professor Portmore is a founding member of Pea Soup, a blog dedicated to philosophy, ethics, and academia.
