Robert Talisse is Assistant Professor of Philosophy at Vanderbilt University and a 2004-2005 Faculty Fellow at the Murphy Institute’s Center for Ethics and Public Affairs. His publications include Democracy after Liberalism as well numerous articles on liberal theory, pluralism, and deliberative democracy. He is the series editor for both the Philosophical Topics Series and the Philosophers Series for Wadsworth Publishing. He is the author of On Rawls, which appeared in the latter series.

Professor Talisse’s research focuses on democracy, public deliberation, and political justification.
