Cheryl Misak is Professor of Philosophy at the University of Toronto. She is the author of Truth and the End of Inquiry, Verificationism: Its History and Prospects, and Truth, Politics, Morality. She has published extensively in learned journals, and edited a supplementary volume of the Canadian Journal of Philosophy entitled Pragmatism (1999).
