David Weinstein is Associate Professor of Political Science at Wake Forest University and a Spring 2007 Center Faculty Fellow. Professor Weinstein’s publications include New Liberalism: Reconciling Liberty and Community (as contributing co-editor, Cambridge University Press, 2001), Equal Freedom and Utility: Herbert Spencer’s Liberal Utilitarianism (Cambridge University Press, 1998) and Utilitarianism and the New Liberalism (Cambridge University Press Idea, 2007), as well as articles in journals such as Utilitas, the Journal of the History of Ideas, and the History of Political Thought.
