Richard J. Arneson is Professor of Philosophy at the University of California, San Diego.
Professor Arneson is the editor of the three volume anthology, Liberalism (Edward Elgar, 1992), and is the author of over 75 articles on ethics and political philosophy, which have appeared in journals such as Ethics, Philosophy and Political Affairs, Nous, and Political Theory.
