Jeffrey A. Stacey, Ph.D., is Assistant Professor of Political Science at Tulane. Prof. Stacey received his M.Phil from Oxford University and his Ph.D. from Columbia University. He has been a visiting scholar at Georgetown University, George Washington University, and at the Center for European Studies at New York University. His principal research interests include the international and domestic impact of integrated global financial and trade markets, and the causes and effects of regional and domestic financial crises in Asia and Latin America. Much of his recent work centers on the analysis of “informal” (non-legal based) dynamics in institutional change and integration, especially in the European Union.
